Guest guest
Hi Beck, I don't have any thyroid problems that I know of... I was pre- preeclampsic during the last month of my pregnancy... High blod pressure, weekly non stress tests.. low birth weight.. I also had low amniotic fluid which may have contributed to s tort. (That's what I figure anyway). Then again, had a nice head shape at birth.. I guess that would be different than skull deformity at delivery. Seems reasonable to me-not a lot of cushioning! Beck
Guest guest
Another reason low amniotic fluid can lead to plagio is that the baby can often get "stuck" in one spot and therefore torticollis begins. That certainly was true in our case. The fluid was so low in 's sac that the membrane actually wrapped up against him like cellophane for a few weeks. He couldn't move and it set him up for tort.
