Guest guest
Hey Group, We endured the casting. cried his little eyes out. As she was applying the cast, it pushed down over his eyes, and he couldn't see. I think he was just scared and didn't understand why his mommy wouldn't hold him. It was a little stressful, but I'm so glad it's done. I have two questions. First, does anyone have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Plan and has it paid? Second, what does LOL stand for? Hope all is well with everyone and their babies. Paige
Guest guest
Paige Im so glad that the casting is over with. I know what you mean about it being a little stressful. I felt so bad cause I knew Mya must have been so scared and just not understanding what was happening. But it will all be worth it once they have a nice new rounder head. Keep us posted. When does he get hisband? Christi mom to Mya > Hey Group, > > We endured the casting. cried his little eyes out. As she was applying the cast, it pushed down over his eyes, and he couldn't see. Guest guest
Poor little ! At least it is over - that part was much worse then the actual fitting of the helmet in our case! Sorry, I don't have BC/BS of any kind so I can't help you there. Some divisions of BC/BS have paid, but I'm not sure which. I see you've already been clued in on the LOL! I didn't know that either when I first started here! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
Paige, Glad to hear that you have the casting done and over with. Thank goodness it only lasts a few minutes because it really is tough on everyone. I bet by the time you were back on the road, had forgotten all about it! We have Blu Cross Blue Shield, but Personal Choice. I don't know how different policies go, but they paid for the both bands 100%. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your policy is the same way! Good luck and be sure to let us know when gets fitted for his band! Guest guest
Thanks, Niki, for your response about insurance. That's encouraging, especially for two helmets! Guest guest
Thanks, everyone, for sympathizing with me on the casting. will get his band on March 6th. I am grieving a little bit. I love to kiss and snuggle his adorable head. I am still nursing, so was glad to hear that others continued to nurse with the band on, but can't help but think that won't be quite so cuddly. I have another computer question: where do you find the pictures that I keep hearing about? Glad to find out what LOL meant. My husband and I had decided that it meant " Lots of Luck, " but that just really didn't make sense! Paige Re: casting completePaigeIm so glad that the casting is over with.
