Guest guest
Does anybody know when the chances of a child's head becoming " flatter " diminishes? I noticed this week that my son has been sleeping on his flat spot. He has been sick all week so I figure he is going back to his comfort zone. Normally since he has learned to roll over, he sleeps on his belly. Call me crazy but when he was sleeping on his belly, I was seeing improvement in his head shape. Now this week, his head looks terrible. The left side (Non flat side) looks as if it has grown. The buldge is bigger, (or the flat side is flatter) one of the two. I never mentioned this to my husband and he said the other day that his head looks worse. Can a child's head be that pliable? We have an appt. with a spcialist on March 6 but I am going crazy worrying about his head shape. I was hoping it would be a little better so there wouldn't have to be so much correction needed with the helmet, but I feel like I have taken 3 steps back already. I can see now...20 years old and I yell at him because he is lying on his back. lol Dana (mommy to ) Ont.
