Guest guest
, My daughter had some facial assym. prior to wearing her STARband, but improved greatly during treatment, but not until in the last month or so. Sometimes I think I can still see some of it, but I think its because I know where to look. If I were to ask anyone off the street, they would never be able to pinpoint any assym. I remember reading before that sometimes the assym. looks worse when looking in the mirror could be because we are seeing it on the opposite side than we are used to, know what I mean? Give it some time, hopefully during the next month or so, you'll start to see improvement. How is the rest of her head doing? Are you seeing improvement there? Guest guest
: Facial assymetries as well as ear assymetries are often the hardest to correct on plagio babies. My daughter's assymetries did improve while she wore her band, however, I can still notice them. Especially in the mirror like you were saying, I wonder why that is? I saw Niki's reply to you about the mirror and that makes good sense to me! I had never thought about that. Give it more time, your daughter still probably has 2 more mos in her band with more improvement to come :-).
