Vasavya Mahila Mandali, a non-governmental organization working with a network

of NGOs in coastal A.P. Providing Home and Community based care and support to

improve the quality of life of People Living With HIV/AIDS, Families affected by

AIDS and Children Affected by AIDS.

Program Co-Ordinator

Eligibility: Master's Degree in Social Work with minimum of 3 years experience

in social development, preferably in HIV/AIDS Care & Support / Prevention.

Excellent computer skills, fluency in English & Telugu and willingness to travel

extensively. Age 30-45 years.

Responsibilities:

The Program Co-Ordinator: will plan for and monitoring of effective

implementation of the programme and co-ordinate delivery of technical support to

VMM's partner organizations in all areas of Home / Community Based HIV/AIDS Care

and Support Programme Implementation in Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities:

· Co-ordinate programmatic monitoring and technical support to the partner NGOs.

· Identifying Training and Capacity Building needs of the partner NGOs and

co-ordinate the delivery of capacity building to partner NGOs

· Preparation of Quarterly Report in coordination with Asst. Program Officer.

· Preparing a Resource Bank - Identifying and keeping a database of key resource

persons for capacity building on various issues of HIV/AIDS care and support and

prevention.

· To be an integral part of the team and take leadership and initiatives to

support the team in effective implementation of the project.

Specific requirements (in addition to general requirements noted above):

· The post holder must be accurate, timely, knowledgeable, well organized and

with very strong analytical skills.

· The post holder should expect to travel at least 25-35 % of time

· Should have the capacity building skills.

· Should have at least 3 years experience in HIV/AIDS care and

support/prevention.

Salary: Rs. 15,000/- consolidated per month.

Field Support Officer (Finance):

Eligibility: A graduate in Accountancy, excellent knowledge in computerized

accounting packages Tally / Quickbooks, thorough in Microsoft EXCEL and fluency

in English. Minimum 4-5 years work experience in the related functional area.

Age below 40 years.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for complete maintenance of books of accounts, reporting, providing

technical support to partner organizations in financial systems and management.

Will be required to travel extensively. Should have the ability to train others.

The Field Support Officer: Finance will provide technical support to VMMs

partner organizations in all areas of financial management and reporting and

office systems, procedures and policies. He/she shall ensure that funds

disbursed to partner organizations are properly accounted for.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide technical support to VMMs partner organizations in areas which

include overall financial management, internal control systems, budgeting and

grants management

Provide support on computerized financial accounting systems in partner

organizations

Assist in implementing effective but simple systems of financial control in

partner organizations.

Support partner organizations in budgeting, contracting etc.

Review financial reports from partner organizations and make analysis and

comments.

Ensure timely reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)

Specific requirements:

· The post holder must be accurate, timely, and knowledgeable in finance

functions, well organized and with very strong analytical skills.

· He/she should have a good knowledge of financial accounting systems, excellent

communication skills and be eager to assist partner organizations in improving

their financial systems.

·The post holder should expect to travel frequently.

·Should have the ability to train others

· Should have a degree or postgraduate degree in Accountancy (preferably C.A./

ICWA Inter)

· Should have at least 4 to 5 years relevant experience.

Salary: Rs. 12,000 /- consolidated per month.
