Guest guest
Okay, I am what, 23 years old, 24 in April, so I was a little kid when the Cosby show was on, and pretty much grew up with that being my favorite show. Well, they've started putting the reruns on Nick at Nite, so I've been watching! (Never knew there'd be a day when the Cosby show would be old enough for Nick at Nite!) Anyway, after goes to sleep, I've been turning it on, and I saw an episode a few nights ago where Dr. Huxtable (Bill Cosby) was babysitting his twin grandchildren, Sondra's children. He had them in their carriers on the couch, and he was talking to them. Well, I noticed that the little boy's head was shaped really weird, and I started freaking out. I was like, "Okay, he's supposed to be an OBGYN and here he is with this baby who CLEARLY has plagio or some other problem, and he isn't even noticing it. They gotta get a helmet on that kid!" And then I realized that the show was made in like 1988 and that kid is 13 years old by now! And then I further realized that I was getting mad at a stand-up comedian for not noticing a clearly misshapen head. I think plagio has made me a little nutty. Last night my husband and I at the mall were pointing out all the baby's heads with plagio, although I don't think any of them had any problems at all. Plagio has made us both crazy! hehe Anyway, just wanted to tell you all about that. I'm really not this nerdy all the time! Guest guest
Kellie We're a bunch of plagio nerds in this group, so you're not alone!! LOL. Last year I remember I posted a message in the group about Plagio being mentioned on the Roseanne show. It was when Roseanne's sister, Jackie was obsessing over her new son. She kept going into his bassinett & rotating him every 5 minutes. Roseanne asked her what the heck she was doing & Jackie says " We have to keep rotating him so he won't get a misshapen head " or something to that effect, but I KNOW she used the words " misshapen head " . I just thought it was so funny! Maybe if I would've paid a bit more attention to that 10 yrs ago, Abby wouldn't have need her bands!!! LOL. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI p.s..I've also been watching the Cosby reruns - but I'm still hooked on the 90210 reruns on FX every day! > Okay, I am what, 23 years old, 24 in April, so I was a little kid when the > Cosby show was on, and pretty much grew up with that being my favorite show. > Well, they've started putting the reruns on Nick at Nite, so I've been > watching! Guest guest
, Hi, I'm one of the cranio moms who lurks about here at the plagio group (my daughter wore the DOC Band for post-op shaping). The activity you referred to is what we at the Cranio group call being " Head Pickers. " We are all a head-obsessed bunch of mommies, and we tend to drive our husbands crazy over it! So, welcome to the Head Pickers Club. I think I'm the on board of director in the club (lol!)
