Guest guest
Hello Jill and , The only " cfs specialist " who is really studying toxic mold and its relationship to cfs is Dr. Richie Shoemaker. (There are a few others, but he is a key player, see also Schaller.) Shoemaker has included 's experience in his latest book. Finally someone is taking seriously. Cheney and have overlooked this aspect of the outbreak which was right under their eyes. My understanding of 's point is that for SOME of us mold is a key player in our ongoing illness. IT is not the only player or even the cause all by itself, athough it could be. Shoemaker has made a case that some of us are unable to clear toxins such as mold because of our genetic makeup. So what you may have had at Truckee high school is a severe mold infestation of that school building combined with some infectious agent or two - could have been viral, could have been mycoplasma, some could have already been infected with borrelia and then got hit with two more things. Given this scenario a significant number of people in that building would get sick and not recover. A significant number would remain healthy. Mold and one's genetic makeup would play a key role. For someone like with a genetic tendency to mold toxicity he would be able to recover ONLY AS LONG AS HE CONSTANTLY AVOIDS EXPOSURE TO TOXIC MOLD. Okay, , is this an accurate summary? a Carnes
