Guest guest
Way to go!! You should probably still receive correction as I am sure other members will tell you their children started after 1 year old and saw good results. Any results is better than none as I see it, even if its 20%! Keep your chin up! Let us know how it goes! ' mom

Guest guest
How did you do this??????? I have BCBS and been told by Cranial Technologies in Charlotte, NC that they are one of the worst ones to work with. Did you have to appeal or did they approve right away?? Anxiously waiting for your reply post! Christy Mom of (4 months old: tort and plagio and in the process of ruling out craniosynostosis) -- Twins approval from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama I have only posted a couple of times here over the past two weeks. I just thought that I would let everyone know that we found out today that BCBS has determined that the DOC Band treatment is a medical necessity for of our twins and will cover the treatment 100%! Unfortunately we waited too long to aggressively pursue this option as our pediatrican told us that their heads would eventually "round out". The twins are now one year old, however we are going ahead with the treatment and are hoping for some positive results. I will let you know how things progress. We begin next week!Dad of twins Shane and For more plagio info

Guest guest
We did not have to appeal and it was approved within 1 1/2 weeks. I don't know if it is due to the coverage I have through my employer or what, however I am not going to question their decision! Guest guest
Thanks for the info and congratulations! I am freaked out enough at the possibility for paying for one child's band(s), I can't imagine it for two. However, as my husband said "I don't care if I have to work nights at Circle K, if that is what she needs, that is what she will get!" We always find a way to provide for our kids, don't we? -- Twins approval from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama> > I have only posted a couple of times here over the past two weeks.
