Guest guest
Hey Beck- Yeah it has gotten better with the more kids Ive had. It gives me less time to think during the day ( I have 3kids 2 girls and a boy) But the nights like around 9pm when the whole house is quiet and everyone is asleep then it starts to set in. I should be used to this now. WE have been doing this for almost 8 years. But I guess you never get used to it. He has been gone for an entire year once to Korea and that was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. You would think 7 weeks would be a snap but its not. You asked where he was for 7 weeks. He is in the military and is in the Special Forces Qualification Course. ANd this is just one of the phases he has to go through to become SF. Soooo and our journey begins. Then once he actual becomes SF he will be gone lots. But our whole reasoning behind him doing this is money. We figured we can handle 2 years of him going away alot because the money he will make on trips we can put away. And then once his commitment is up he will move on to somewhere else where he wont be gone as much. End result being when he finally retires in 12 years (whewww to actually say the amount of years seems like an eternity) he will be getting great retirement pay and will be able be home. Of course by then a couple of my kids may be grown. But Im sure well still have some young ones around. Mya will still be young and we plan to have atleast one or two more kids. Jeesh Im sorry did I start babbeling or what. Can you tell I am in need of some adult conversation haha. ANyway I am sure this new baby will come out with a perfectly fine round head. My first two had no problems whatso ever. And then here comes my beautiful baby Mya and this is the first I ever heard of plagiocephaly and torticollis. I had no idea. Atleast you are aware now and know what to look for. So the minute you seen any abnormalities you are prepared. As for me with Mya I had no clue there was even a name for it. I just thought she had a flat head and there was nothing wrong with it. I hope your hubby gets back for the labor. He better huh? Good luck. Do you know if its a boy or girl? Well Good luck!
