Presentations on sexuality minorities and sex work

Dear Friends,

I have been asked to coordinate the session " Problems of Different

Sexualities " at " Festival of Pleasure " National Conference for Sex

Workers in AIDS Prevention in Trivandrum, Kerala, March 1-3, 2003.

This session is about LBGT issues that effect sex workers, and

will be held on March 3 from 10 am to 1 pm.

We are asking sex workers groups, activists in sex workers'

movements, and LGBT activists if they are interested in making

short presentations about their experiences or relevant issues

regarding sexuality minorities and sex work. Possible topics

include: Sex Work and Men who have Sex with Men, Male Sex Work

and HIV/AIDS, Situation for Hijras/ Transgendered Sex Workers,

Place for Male and Transgendered Sex Workers in Queer Movements,

Lesbians and Sex Work, Alliances between LGBT Movements and Sex

Worker's Movements ... Or any other topics you may think of.

As it is a relatively short workshop, we may select a few

presentations and try to leave space for others to share

experiences. But your contributions and suggestions are

appreciated. If interested, please write
