Guest guest
, I agree with you, peds. need to be aware of the damage they are doing by not educating themselves to plagio (and torticollis). Believe me, if I knew my peds. email address, I would definitely send it to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AnnMarie & (13 mos.) Guest guest
Debbie. I know it's been a while. Max is doing well. The reason it caught my eye so much is because I think of all of the baby's with irreversible damage. Max has damage to his eyes that will never be corrected. We were invited to a cranio symposium this April by a Craniofacial surgeon and a Neurosurgeon. that attorney is one of the guest speakers. I look forward to going and will let you know how it goes. Max is two on 4/18. He is 9 months post op. This time last year he was wearing the starband and everyone thought I was nuts...LOL! He had tubes put in his ears on 1/24 and unfortunately even with the tubes has a conductive haering loss. He has learned alot of sign language which will help tide him over until he learns to talk. Max will have a revision to his cranio surgery in early summer to lift his brow and forehead. The skin on the left side of his head is slipping from the bone and drooping downward. He still looks cute though. I am always around even though I spend most of my time on the cranio group. I hope if the occassion ever arises that I am needed you will send whomever it is my way. Give my love to Abby. Amy(Max's mom) > > Hello all. Guest guest
Amy, Wow - I can't believe it! That is amazing. I agree that peds need to see that judgement - I think it would make a significant impact on their willingness to refer! Thanks for sharing that Amy. I hope all is well with you and your family. I just read your post back to Debbie. That's neat that Max is learning sign language! I hope his upcoming surgery goes smoothly. Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma > Hello all.
