Try leaving the band in direct sunlight after you clean it with alcohol - for the full hour it's off. That usually does the trick (if you have sun where you are, that is!! ;o)

Has anyone else had any problems with odor? I havetried the rubbing alcohol but there is still a bit ofan odor.Thanks, (mom to Jonathon...6 months old and 5 weeks inDOC Band)__________________________________________________

I wash 's STARband once a week (usually Sat. or Sun.) in Woolite and cold water. I leave it soak for a little while first. Then I dry it -- in the summer - outside in the sun and in the winter - in front of a dehumidifer. Throughout the week I clean it with rubbing alcohol. I also notice an odor during the week but once washed with the Woolite it is gone!!

I wash 's STARband once a week (usually Sat. or Sun.) in Woolite and cold water.

Please make sure you check with your clinician before doing this. Different band/helmet brands may not tolerate something like this.
