My son wore the band for close to 3 months, and he also developed a

" balder " spot in the back where the seam of the band was. It took I think

more or less 2 months for it to fully grow back in. Hope this helps!

HI Eleanor:

My Abby never lost any of her hair in 8 mos time in 2 bands....she

has always had a ton of hair. I've never heard of permanent hair

loss due to wearing a band.

Hi Eleanor,

My son Boris was treated by Dr.Blecher also. I noticed that Boris

has less hair on the prominent part of his head. It's been like that

since early days when we noticed the flatness. And I think that being

in a band made it worse. He does have hear, but much less then

everywhere else on his head. And it seems like it grows slower than

the rest of it. Or maybe he rubs it a lot when sleeping, and because

that is still the prominent part, he loses a lot of hear there. It

does concern me, because it's been three months since he's out of the

band, and no improvement.

I'd really like to hear from other members about this.

Some of you probably remember me, the old members. I'm not leaving

you ever, reading all the posts every day.

Love you guys!!!

Hi Aleqsandra,

Thankyou for your reply - Just wondering if you could tell me a

little about Boris's treatment. I am getting the band fitted next

Monday and am a little anxious about the whole thing. How old was

Boris when he started the treatment and how long did he have to wear

it for? Was he severe? Hoe did you find the whole treatment? What

kind of results have you had? Dr Blecher said that ons case was

moderate and if left - was 50/50 chance of getting any better - he

has a flat back of his head - more to the right - is about 1.5 cm

out - but has pretty much symmetrical face with only slight move on

the ears and frontal. We had him casted anyway - do you think it was

neccessary - need a little reassurance ( sorry for bombarding you

with questions!!
