Guest guest
Hi, all- My 5.5 month-old daughter has been diagnosed with positional brachycephaly (flat back of head - almost perfectly symmetrical). After much poo-pooing by our pediatritian ( " her hair will grow over it blahblahblah), I got her referred to a pediatric neurosurgeon who said we could get the helmet if we wanted or try repositioning. Everything I've read says it's too late to try repositioning now and that the helmet would be more effective. My husband and I have tentatively decided to try the helmet. The DOC Band seems to be the most popular out there...Does anyone have experience with the Paramus, NJ clinic? We're in Delaware - Seems to be the closest one. Any other advice? Sorry this is so long - This is all very confusing and new....
