I felt having a PT was extremely helpful as I initally had no idea what I was suppose to do...let alone do the excercises safely. During our first meeting, our PT went through a number of exercises and made me practice in front of her. I only had to see her 1x per month as she had me stretch at home everyday. So, to answer your question...I did do most of the work..but under the guidance of someone who could give me support and guidance. Whether you do the stretches or have someone do them for you.. the main thing is your child needs to have the excercises done. 's tort resolved itself within 3 months. Hope this helps a little.
