Guest guest
A better day!> Thanks to everyone for all the kinds words when I was feeling down.> I'm feeling much better today! I got in touch with our neurosurgeon's> office and they said the doctor wrote craniosynostosis on the order> for 's CT scan just for insurance purposes so that they would> pay for it. It would have been nice if they would have explained that> to us ahead of time so that we didn't worry about it all weekend.> But anyway, I'm just glad that 's chances of having cranio are> once again low. More good news is that we got 's CT scan moved> up from March 6th to Feb. 26th. So we should be able to get going> with the casting of the band shortly after that. I know there are> more tough days ahead (casting, insurance battles, etc...) but I feel> so much better now that we are least on our way to getting help for> . Guest guest
> It is actually six hours ROUNDTRIP, but that was still too much for us in one day. I guess we are wimps! : You're not wimps for wanting to get a hotel! You're smart! I wish I would've done that. It's sooo hard on everyone involved with those long trips. I used to get home from our trips in the worst mood - I was always totally stressed out from traffic & listening to a screaming kid for hours. I swear there's not much worse than a screaming kid in a car while you're stuck in a traffic jam knowing you still have 100+ miles to go! Oh - you're bringing back bad memories - hehe, but it was very worth every scream, traffic jam and arguement for Abby's rounder head :-).
