Guest guest
Deesmilly, I am surprised they even will pay $500.00. I am certain the provider of the band will let you pay it out over a few months as long as you sign a financial obligation agreement. It is a business. If they are not profitable they cease to exist. Can you qualify for special assistance? Guest guest
Marie, I'm not from the LA area, but did want to ask what band you were going to get. Was it a DOCband? If you call some orthotists in your area you might be able to find one that makes a STARband or a local helmet for cheaper. However, if you don't use a DOCband make sure you interview your ortho very thoroughly. Other products can be very effective, but only if they are in the hands of an experienced and skilled orthotist. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
