Guest guest
Hi . I'm also in Michigan and my 3 1/2 month old son is getting a helmet of the type you describe in the near future. His is coming from Danmar products in Ann Arbor I believe. This kind of helmet, from what I have read is a more passive correction product and is intended for younger children who do not need aggressive therapy. If anyone else has any other information, I sure would like to know as well. By the way, I live in Milford. . .where are you? Guest guest
I'm in Canton. That makes sense, my daughter's case is not too severe- At 3 1/2 months your son should get good results, plus I think the younger they are the less resistant they will be. My daughter has fought every effort I have made to have her sleep on the opposite side of her head. If I prop her up on a pillow, she pulls the pillow and throws it to the end of her crib! When does your son get his helmet? I'll let you know how Madeline adjusts to hers. Thanks for the manufacturer's name- this will give me more to research! Guest guest
Hi : My daughter wore both a STARband & a DOCband but not a helmet. We have a lot of members in our group whose child has worn a helmet though. I wanted to welcome you to our group. I'm also a Michigander - Grand Rapids. We considered getting our daughter a helmet from U of M but the STARband was available closer to our home. When will your daughter's helmet be in? Welcome again. We've had a lot of new Michigan members recently! Must be a common plagio state!
