Guest guest
Debbie, You had said your daughter was placed in her DOC band at 11.5 mos. When did you first start to notice a change in her head? Jessie has been in her helmet 3 weeks tomorrow and we're not really noticing anything yet. Does this seem to be the case with older babies? I've read that parent's of babies much younger start to notice changes by this time. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. By the way, Jessie is doing so well in her band! She looks so adorable in it. It almost seems strange to see her without it when it's off for the hour a day. Never thought I'd be saying that! Thanks, Theresa (Mom to Jessie)
Guest guest
Theresa, I'm not the Debbie you sent this to, but my daughter also started her DOC band at 11.5 months. We only seem to notice real improvement with her growth spurts. So, she'll go several weeks without any noticeable change, then one day I'll look at her and think "wow, when did that happen!?". It is usually after a growth spurt. I'm sure minor changes are occuring along the way, but I just can't see them because they are small. I would say just to be patient. We have seen some good improvement (and she just started her 2nd band), but it definitely has been a slow process for us. Good luck Debbie and Kendall ----Original Message Follows---- From: harmonyrain18@... Reply-Plagiocephaly Plagiocephaly CC: Harmonyrain18@...
