Just ran into a banded baby!!!

) It would figure that now that Leigha is not in her DOC band that

I would run into two banded babies in less than a month. What a cute

little boy he was too!!!!! The first question out of the dad's

mouth when I mentioned that my daughter was a DOC band graduate

was " Did insurance cover it? " I absolutly hate that so many people

are denied coverage for something that does help these kids. But,

Dr. Colyer(Leigha's surgeon) is running for congress so maybe if he

gets in some things will be changed at least locally.

I was so thrilled to see a banded baby again so if the couple I ran

into at the Price Shopper on 23rd street and 291 in Independence

reading this you have a very handsome banded boy there!!!!
