Debbie you are so funny!! Did I tell you I had to settle for a picture with Dave when they came to the hotel we were staking out?

BTW, I got my guitar from Pampers Perks, its actually pretty cool and is having his own jam sessions already! He bobs his head like a rocker- I hope that's why and not something mental :)

Debbie,

Yes, I sent it in (thanks to your reminder!) like 4 days before the deadline.

I think we received it close to two weeks ago. Maybe because I only ordered

the guitar did I get it sooner- do you think they are holding on to your

entire order and shipping at one time? They better get that darn Jeep to

Abby- all that point collecting is not for our amusement! Why can't they

just get " more availability " - like buy some more Jeeps! Or send a voucher so

you can get one! I would write a nasty letter to the company and tell them

your switching to Huggies who fulfills its promises to little children -

really put a tear in their eye ;) Like they don't have enough of our money

to buy some more toys for loyal customers! They kept emailing me about my

son's milestones- a year in advance of his real age- and I told them I had

emailed them about the countless diapers that don't stick that I've thrown

out- they finally mailed me a coupon for a free mega pack. (probably I have

thrown out about that many!) They tried to argue that maybe I got powder on

them- NO- straight out of the pack people! Good luck! I hope Abby gets that

Jeep!

- That is so funny Bon Jovi was the first concert I ever went to. We had front row center and I caught one of Ritchie Samboras guitar pics! I will have to go onto that site and see the stuff. Maybe Grace needs some baby rockstar stuff so that someday she can be a rockstar and make tons of money ha ha !! -- and Grace

My SIL bought Dane a rockstarbaby tshirt ..just gray with

rockstarbaby on the front....It was $35!

You can also get them on babystyle.com and they give some decent

coupons there if you are on the mailing list.

Dane has GER (reflux), so his clothes get trashed within a couple of

wearings.

No Kidding! Geez oh pete - only if Jon was my husband could I afford

some of their clothes, but not with as my husband ; ). Good

night! Abby will have to deal with plain ole Gerber onesies!

I of course entered to win a bunch of Bon Jovi stuff off their

webpage - if I was to get 1st place I'd get a whole bunch of goodies,

like Jon's orange leather jacket that he's really worn, his cowboy

hat, RockStar Baby clothes + a whole bunch of other cool things.

But 4th place wins stuff from - their keyboardist -eww!!!

That's something I definitely do not need! ; ).

Debbie :)

p.s....for those who don't know, Tico, Bon Jovi's drummer created &

designs the Rock Star Baby clothes & stuff, he's quite an artist.

More useless information in my head - after watching their Behind the

Music 100 times, I know em all too well :)

YES, I remember you telling me that!!! Poor Dave! Just not a

handsome rock star :).

That's great you got your guitar - now really is a Rock Star

Baby :)

I'm getting a bit concerned about all my pamper points. I ordered

the battery powered Jeep the 1st of November, rec'd a letter telling

me it's backordered til July (rec'd letter in Jan. I think). I

emailed Pampers 2/6 asking if they could possibly ship it to me

before July. I finally just got a reply from Pampers telling me

their program exceeded their expectations and the program was based

on " product availability " ....they'd mail me a letter regarding my

order soon to tell me what to expect. Now I'm wondering if I'll get

the Jeep ever! They better give it to me! I also ordered several

other items, scanner, books, grill, and the guitar. I better get

everything darn it! I haven't rec'd a thing to date.

When did you send in for ' guitar? I remember it had to be

close to the end of Jan. cuz you said you had forgotten about it til

I posted a reminder to get your pts. in. I mailed my order for the

guitar end of Jan. too.

saw me ;)

By the way, how is Grace doing with the tort and the band? Hope all is well!

- It was all luck my friend was a babysitter for some people and the husband worked at the arena where they came to play so we always got good seats to everything. Only problem is it sure spoiled me when I no longer hung out with her and had to get tickets like normal people after all the years of front row!! Ha Ha

Grace has been doing really well. We are still working on a tiny bit of a tilt. The PT has been taping her the last few weeks. He just tapes her for a few days and sees how she does. He told my husband last week when he was in that Grace was moderate to severe when we first went in which he had never really come out and said to us before. But now she is nearly straight as an arrow. We are probably the only ones that really notice! So we will just keep going until it is resolved. She is a trooper and very very strong. Her 6 month visit the doctor said she had "extraordinary" strength which has really helped her be determined to get that neck out of its' position.

Her helmet is also doing well, at the end of this month we might be cutting down to just sleep time in it. Last night we went to my brothers b day party and we used that hour as her hour off and my mom was disappointed we didn't bring her in her helmet because she thinks she looks so cute in it! funny. Hope you and are doing well. -- and Grace

LMAO - It's so nice to know I'm not the only dork out there!! Hehe.

Jon's wife is preggers again, maybe their baby will have plagio &

he'll sub to our group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (wishful thinking, yeah

yeah).

BTW, I like your voucher idea for the Pampers perks! I'll be SO mad

if I don't get my stuff! It's really ticking me off, esp. since I

mailed my order the 1st of November for her Jeep for pete's sake!

That's funny you had so many problems with the tabs not sticking. I

bet that's why they switched the diapers to velcro closure - to get

you off their backs ; ). Abby always leaked right thru her Huggie

diapers, so it's strictly Pampers & sometimes Luvs (with her

boyfriend Barney). I'm hoping it'll be the toilet soon, but I know

that'll be a while yet. Don't some of the Pampers designs seriously

have Humpty Dumpty on em????

You know I'm gonna have to sort through diapers to find that Humpty Dumpty

!;)

Not sure! I still can't get it together, I buy some pampers with stick,

some are velcro!

What a friend!! How come my friends always get us kicked out of places, not

in (just kidding, I never go anywhere :)

Great to hear that Grace is doing so well. I wish my pt had done the taping-

I have always heard good results but the 2 different pt's we went to had no

clue about it. One even said it seemed like it would hurt (love when they

say things they have no idea about!).

That made me chuckle about your mom being dissapointed that Grace didn't have

her helmet on. My parents were my biggest opposition at first- thought I was

overreacting, then they missed the helmet so bad because they said he looked

cuter in it!!! Too funny! Great talking with you again!

That was too funny! You crack me up!! I was lucky I guess that the PT just happened to be going to seminars on taping in the last two months so he is quite into it. The one he did last week was great. She held her head straighter than ever and it didn't seem to bother her a bit. Yes it is so funny my mom has loved the helmet from the beginning but my mother in law I think is a little bit embarassed by it, or at least was at first. Or maybe that was just me reading into being a paranoid mom when we first brought her home with the helmet!! So good talking to you again too. You always give the greatest advice. Thanks and Grace

Debbie- Too funny. I know what you are talking about. She isn't bold enough to take the helmet off but you can tell she wants to for pictures etc. So one day I got all nervous about it and said "Well we can take the helmet off" (stupid me I don't know why I even offered) and my husband piped up and said "No, the helmet can stay on. We don't want Grace to think we were embarassed of her with her helmet!" and I thought way to go honey! So the helmet stayed on. And I have never offered to take it off again for my any pictures. ~ and Grace

Debbie,

Wow, see- now your worse than me because I used to have " that women's " name

etched into memory, and I thought for sure it started with an " A " .....I am so

over him (I can hear you out there: are not, are not!) :o)

What a twist, Humpty has been wearing Humpty all along!!

Yes, the helmet really brings out the true personalities in some doesn't it?

Some are rude, some polite, some want to stay clueless, some very interested,

and some so sorry for you. The best part is Gracie lives with an educated

mommy, not grandma! It's a learning experience for sure! I love the story

of the pictures and Daddy's response, what a guy, what a guy!! Your insight

and experience is invaluable and it's so nice to read your posts and updates

on Grace! It all helps when we're in the same boat together!! Good luck on

the teething pain, hope little Grace is feeling better soon!

Take Care,

Jon's lucky wife's name is Dorothea (h.s. sweetheart, gag)- they have

2 kids already, a boy & a girl 8 & 6 yrs old - I think she's due in

August (ok, ok, for anyone calling the stalker hotline on me, this

was just in a magazine I read 2 wks ago!!!). Did you know Jon just

had his 40th bday too?? Whoa! Oh boy, the more I'm reading this , the

more I realize how pathetic you all must think I am - really, I'm

not! LMAO.

And yes, I know for sure there are Humpty Pamper diapers. I am quite

sure they're just on the newer velcro closure designs though, we

don't have any old style closures left in MI.

My mother in law always took Abby's band off for our family pictures

that she takes at EVERY get together. It really ticked me off too!

One night when I was very annoyed with mother in law anyway (imagine

that!), I finally snapped back at her telling her Abby's band would

stay on for the picture. She never tried taking it off again,

NEVER! Don't even get me started on that woman! LOL

Good for your hubby! I got REALLY mad last year about it, and in my

not so nice voice I said " no, you can leave her band on, it's who she

is! " . Needless to say it got a bit tense in the room :). It REALLY

offended me - rightfully so too. Just goes to show you how vein some

people can be (and my mom in law is very very vein)
