Guest guest
Clearbacked stickers are best because they peel right off for easy changing. I like Me and My Big Ideas and Sandylion the best. You can usually find them at a craft store near you like s or AC . Guest guest
: Check out www.plagiocephaly.org then go to decorating ideas for some good decorating suggestions. I never painted my daughter's band, I just used stickers that I bought from pretty much any store. They were just normal stickers that I used. Guest guest
Hi ! I used regular stickers and coated them with clear fingernail polish. (several coats) Then I put the helmet in front of a fan for a few minutes to dry it...I know some people worry about the fumes but it really didn't seem to be much of an issue to me. I changed the stickers every 2 weeks or so...the corners will start to peel off and they will need to be changed by then (and you will be really to try a new theme!) We really had fun with Evan's helmet! Kinda even missed it when he was done with it! (just kinda....we were glad when he was done of course!!!) Have fun! - Evan's mom DOC grad 06/011 > Hi group, > > I noticed in the pictures that some people put stickers ( I think) on > the band. Guest guest
I used a variety of stickers and rub-on transfers. I always had painted on a base coat of an acrylic paint and then applied the stickers. That way when I was ready to change the design, all I had to do was peel off the paint, and everything else came off with it. Definitely use an acrylic varnish to seal your work. I made the mistake of using the acrylic sealer once, and it made my rub-on transfers shrivle up like shrinky dinks!! The website that Debbie gave you has some really good tips. Plus you can check out the 'photos' section on our homepage to see how different members have decorated their child's band. Guest guest
I didn't even think of sanding Baby Mo's. I just used acrylic craft paint, 88 cents a bottle at WalMart, then put a glaze over it, and it seems to be holding up fine. Guest guest
Hi - we didn't paint 's band, but many here have. I think people do typically sand the band lightly before applying paint. Check out www.plagiocephaly.org/suppport for some decorating tips! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma > Hi I haven't been on in a while but I was wondering if anyone could > help with decorating questions?
