My meeting with President of INDIA on HIV/AIDS Campaign

Dear Friends ,

Thanks to our kind President of INDIA , Shri Dr.A.P.J Kalam. I have got

appointment with President of India Shri Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam ( Monday 29th

March ).He is only person who concern about campaign and issue. I requested

almost all those people who are involve direct to HIV/AIDS or working on this

issue including Govt.official. I wanted to meet all said people during my

campaign to just for suggestion and opinion on campaign " Mission Highway - to

fight against HIV/AIDS " but nobody response , not even send a courtesy mail or

appraised campaign, I have invested my time , money and skill for a burning

issue , which can motivate me for future work.

But President's office not only responded but also accepted request to discuss

about Rainbow City which is going to give direct help to those people who are

infected or affected people , by any killer disease and belongs to BPL .If this

meeting will be success and President will agree with this idea , I will able to

set-up this model before my deadline (2010 ).

Although I am not asking any financial support but President's apparition and

comments will work as guide and big support to implement project .I would like

to get comments , suggestions and opinions from intellectual person like you.

When you will critique or appreciate this project , it will give me a lot of

motivation and inspiration me and make my commitment more strong.

My model project can be complete with help of local people with local resource

and proper guide of intelligent and experienced people like you . Rainbow city

will help direct 5000 HIV/AIDS infected or affected people every year in each

state ( 20 States ) and indirect 5 village will be developed every year and

Indirect 10000 people are going to get benefit every year.

What is all about project :

Project Name : " Mission Highway - to fight against HIV/AIDS "

Project Time : 1st December 2003 to 1st December 2010

Project Objective :

a.. Explore various rights / legal issues that have benefited few patients but

need to be made available for majority of HIV/AIDS infected & affected persons

or families, Like HIV preventive health information and interventions.

a.. To provide full and complete information about HIV / AIDS

a.. To ensure help for infected and affected persons and families through

different organisation and agencies by motivating youth to contribute time and

skill for the affected community.

a.. To motivate young generation to utilise services provided by Govt. of India

like HOTLINE 1097 and Voluntary Confidential Counselling and Test Centre and

help to establishment of these services where community need it

a.. Provide Counsellor to private HIV/AIDS test Centre / Blood Banks , Schools

and Colleges at regular basis .

a.. To create positive attitude and a friendly society towards the HIV infected

/ affected people .

a.. To create a strong group of volunteers who will support and join the network

of organisations already fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic .

Project in different Phase :

First Phase : All India Tour covering 20 states and 70 cities organise 1200

talks with different target groups ( 1st Dec 03 to 15th May 04 )

Second Phase : International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day , 1000 clubs and

communities will observe and distribution of 35 Laces flyers in 15 Languages (

16th May , 2004 )

Third Phase : Establishment of Co-ordination office in Mumbai to co-ordinate

programme and assistance of fund ( July 2004 )

Yearly Plan for co-ordination office -

a.. Event Management of World AIDS Day ( 1st December ) and International AIDS

Candlelight Memorial Day ( Every third Sunday of May)

b.. AIDS Prevention Programs in schools / colleges and community through Street

plays / One Act play / Quiz Show / Music Dance , 500 programmes in a years.

c.. Preparation and Co-ordination of state chapter and arrangement of resource.

Fourth Phase : Souvenir cum full guide on HIV/AIDS distribution of 2 laces

copies in two language HINDI/ENGLISH will reach more than 2 crores people in

different parts of India. ( December 2005 )

Fifth Phase : Establishment of Campaign State Chapter and adopt at least one

district in every states for three years as support system of infected or

affected people , 50% of workers at state chapter will be from infected and

affected community . Based on response and feedback ( ICAM , World AIDS Day ,

Flyers and Souvenirs ) of advocacy program ( December 2006 to 2008 ).

Sixth Phase ( December 2008 to December 2010 ): Establishment of Rainbow City in

every states to provide support system to HIV /AIDS , TB or any other killer

diseases infected or affected people . Around 10000 people will get benefits

every year in each state. This city will help to combat HIV/AIDS and with focus

of this burning issue , We will help to develop several village every year. To

Maximum phase will be complete through local people and local resource for local

community.

Response of Campaign : In response to campaign , Mission Highway got motivated

people all said states and free of cost office space , now they are preparing

for International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day ( 16th May)

This entire project can be success only with guide and support of intelligent

people like you. I need your help on above said project and for that I want to

meet you and discuss.
