Dear Ann,

Thankyou so much for your reply - I love the name of

your son Boo - its lovely! I hope he is well and it

sounds like you must be very busy. If his suture lines

are still open - what exactly will that entail for

him? or does it mean that the band treatment again

will be effective? ( sorry if i sound a little

ignorant) I would love to meet you when we are at

Kings - and thankyou for your kind invitation for

accomodation - i'm sure at some point during the

treatment we might just take you up on that!

I haven't heard anything from Dr Blecher - so i don't

know when we are next due down - i thought it would be

the 25th but have had no confirmation as of yet. Will

he also be there on the Tuesday too?

I do hope that everything will be ok with Boo - have

you found anything else out since?

Reuben is now 19 months. He was banded at 6ish months,

Reuben has

intrauterine compression syndrome so his plagio is not

positional as such. He

has a number of difficulties with global development

delay.

I did see a massive improvement with his head shape

after a few months. I am

seeing Blecher again next Monday or Tuesday

because Boo (Reuben) still

has asymmetry quite noticeable at the back and side

with one ear a lot lower

infact Boo has earring loss in the left ear due to

compression. said

because Boo is a little behind (sweet) he will band

him again. Boo attends

GOSH (Gt Ormond St) every 2 weeks or so, they actually

suggested that he

might benefit from further treatment with the helmet,

although today we had a

phone call to say there is worries about the suture

lines Boo also has a very

wide anterior fontanel, which has not closed.

Perhaps we could all meet when we are at Kings

together. I only live 1hr from

London so any parents who need a bed for the night are

more than welcome
