Guest guest
- Dane has eczema from food allergies and generally dry skin all the time. The area where the band touches his skin looks better than any other part of his body (except his bootie which is always smooth). The top of his head that is exposed from the band is very dry and flaky. I guess what I am trying to say is that the DOC Band has actually improved the skin it touches. Everybody said that would happen, I didn't believe it because my son has terribly sensitive skin, but it happened! He is even allergic to disposable diapers. He infrequently gets a red spot on the back of his head from sweating or rubbing his head back and forth when he had an ear infection. I was told to put Cortaid on it when the band is off. The therapist also put a mole skin patch there for a while until his ear infection healed. It absobed the moisture and took pressure off the spot that was sore from him shaking his head left and right. You might want to get Kai recasted. Since he wasn't in his band for a while, he might need new pressure points. I know castings aren't fun, but it might speed up the progress.
