Guest guest
Hi , Like you, I seldom get colds, but when I do they seem to be associated with a time of relative improvement in health. I do seem to regard tham as a good sign, despite the fact that I really hate anything 'in the head'. Rosie Dr Cheney didn't think so. His explanation was that the viral infection had us so overwhelmingly upregulated that common colds don't get a foothold. He called us " The Invulnerables " when this little quirk of not catching stuff showed up. I must say that the " immune-weakness-you-brought-this-on-yourself- by-bad-diet-drugs-stress-etc " theorists seemed almost gleeful when they predicted we would all die at the very next cold or flu that went through. They had this " Just what you deserve " smirk. So sorry to disappoint them. Haven't had a single cold since 1985. -
Guest guest
, Oh dear. I haven't had a cold in years. So long ago I don't even remember. Is the TH1 to TH2 something that Dr. Shoe addresses? So I take it as a bad sign that I've never got one stinking cold. Darn it! - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Thanks Amelia, I take the whey ImmunoPro, but haven't tried TF. I'll order some soonest. All I seem to get is the " stomach flu " about every three weeks or so. Guest guest
If you stay home a lot, away from people, esp kids, a lot, stay in bed a lot, yr less likely to get colds. Guest guest
Actually, just this evening I feel my throat tickling, and my nose revving up - interesting, not least as a 'telephone friend' with ME is in the middle of a stinking cold, and is also (whilst still very unwell), much better than she has been for a while. I hope it is a good sign! Rosie , Oh dear. I haven't had a cold in years. So long ago I don't even remember. Is the TH1 to TH2 something that Dr. Shoe addresses?
