Hey Kelli. I hear you about wanting to run and not wanting anyone to pick her up. started walking at 10 months like your Em, and now at 14 months he is running, climbing, and also outside is the place to be. He just CAN'T be carried outside anymore. He wants down and has to go HIS way...just can't hold my hand. He knows what "outside" means and when he hears me ask the dog if he "wants to go outside", he runs to the door and tries to turn the door knob. I need one of those door knob thingies. If we take the dog out, he is fine...but he screams when we go back in. I think he is getting into the terrible 2's a little early. He used to mind...now he has a mind of his own!
