Average cd4 count range for Indians

Hi,

In the west, doctors tell me that the avg. cd4 count range for

an avg. person is in the range of 500-1500 or so. I was wondering if

that is the same for an avg. indian person, considering there are

many genetic, environmental and other factors that may make it

different?

I think I read in some article by an indian hiv researcher that an

indian's avg. cd4 range is between 300-700? Any experts want to

address this question? I'm sure people who get treatment may know

this as well.
