Guest guest
Everyone, When we fit DOC Bands (before switching to the STARband) a physician (M.D). here in Houston washed his child's hair with Liquid Dial Soap. There was no more odor. She also corrected very nicely in spite of the use of the soap. I posted this last year to the group. CTI (Carol kson) posted the next morning that they don't advise the use of dial soap. The child had no issues at all. The father always maintained his stance that the odor is from bacteria. Dial is anti-bacterial soap. Enough said. She did have a nice clean smelling scalp and band. Of course, there are many varying degrees of tolerance amongst ALL of us. What one child can tolerate may be different than others. Proceed with caution just as one should with washing machine detergents, antiperspirants, skin creams, and anything that comes in contact with the skin. More power to good smelling bands.
