Guest guest
Hi & welcome to our group! Did your daughter ever receive any type of physical therapy to correct her head tilt (torticollis)? The mirror is a very good tool to use when looking for any assymetries.....so many of us notice our children's flatness and/or assymetries much clearer while looking in the mirror. Regression of the head after a child graduates is quite rare, although we have had a few members whose child has regressed post graduation. It is much more common in younger children because their head is still quite malleable. In children over 1, the risks of regressing greatly diminish. Good luck with your Dr.......do you have any photographs of your daughter around the time she graduated? Especially of her head? If so, I would take a close look at those and compare those to her head shape now. Pictures can really help. Let us know what your Dr. says. Best of luck! Welcome again. Guest guest
I assume your daughter has torticollis. Is she in therapy for this? I would think that if tort wasn't resolved, the tilt would cause the head to be in the same spot. I'm sure one of the DOC Grad momma will chime in here. You will probably be hearing from who is the tort police. Dane's mom (DOC Band 2/14) > Hello - Sure hope you can give some good advise.
