Walking babies (non-plagio)

Does anybody out there have advice for babies that refuse to walk? My

twins are almost 16 months old and although they cruise, crawl (one

of them uses his feet instead of his knees) and climb onto all of my

furniture (including the kitchen table)they flatly refuse to walk on

their own! I know that babies are usually on their own schedule, but

if anybody has advice for encouraging them I would love to hear it!
