Guest guest
Hello, I don't know if you all remember me telling you about my friend that had a baby a couple of months ago. He had hernia surgery a few wks ago. She told me that he has been crying a lot. Tossing his head side to side, arches his back and cries when she tries to feed him. His tummy is rumbling. She also said that his bowel movements have not been regular. She is currently breast feeding but is thinking about switching to soy. I would also like to mention that she had him vaxxed a couple of wks ago. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions that I can give her? Thanks OHIO

Guest guest
It sounds like he may have some sensitivities that are causing reflux. I would recommend that she eliminate dairy, soy, chocolate, corn, msg and eggs from her diet for a week and then add them back one by one, taking note of his reactions. I would absolutely tell her not to give up breastfeeding. Soy formula will not help him in the long run. He needs her milk, he may just be sensitive to it. Have her keep a diary of what she eats correlated with when he crys/has a rumbling tummy. Worked wonders for my daughter.
