Guest guest
Someone that helps me around the house brought me free particle board from a housing development so I could put a partial floor in my attic. I already posted that here. It smelled strongly of formaldehyde. I thought I could paint it and solve problem but then decided by the time I pay him to paint them for me I could just buy some inexpensive construction board. I put it out in the trash to get it out of the house. I went to buy and order it delivered when I noticed mold growing on their 'indoor' sample of the board - the rest of it was " outside " !!! I can see why homes can go moldy easily or have other air quality problems. My choice was between smelling glue or breathing mold. I will check out some other places. Perhaps there is someplace that stores it's construction wood indoors, Home Depot?? I don't know. Or it's back to painting the particle board. It's probably too toxic to begin with to support any bacterial or fungal life. __________________________________________________
