WB SACS Vacancy for the post of the NGO Advisor

Hello everyone,

There is a vacancy in the sacs for the post of the ngo advisor. Applications are

hence invited for appointment to the post of NGO Advisor on Contract basis in

West Bengal State AIDS Prevention & Control Society engaged in Prevention and

Control of HIV/AIDS in the State.

1)Qualification : Master Degree in any Social discipline such as Sociology,

Anthropology, Psychology, Social Work.

2)Experience: i) At least two years experience in the NGO sector preferably in

the health sector. Past experience in the HIV/AIDS field would be an added

advantage.

ii)Excellent communication skills both written as well as verbal.

iii)Knowledge of local language (Bengali).

iv)Working knowledge in computer especially in MS Office.

4)Position & :i) The position is purely temporary and on contract basis.

The Tenure initial placement is for one year, extendable for another year based

on performance.

3) Age : 25 – 40 years.

4) Salary : Consolidated pay Rs.13,000/- p.m.

C)Applications should be neatly typed containing Curriculum Vitae, two recent

passport size photograph, Xerox copies of the certificates of the qualification

and experiences.

D)Last date for receipt of application is 18.08.2003.

E)The envelope should be superscribed with the title “Application for the post

of NGO Advisor”.
