A moldy mess? Parents want to know if there child's school has

dangerous spores growing in the classrooms.

" There's a lot of unexplained rashes, frequent nose bleeds,'

described Brookhill parent Leah s.

Health concerns have parents wanting to know what's lurking in

Brookhill School in Athens. In 2000, the board closed Brookhill for

52 days when tests found there was mold in the building.

The board spent $1 million to clean and renovate the school.

Recently, more air sample tests were taken. Parents believe those

tests will show the mold problem is back. Many wonder about the

future of Brookhill School and their children's health.

" We really hope something can be done so we can stay in the school

building,' says s.

Results from the air quality test will be presented to parents and

teachers at Athens High School.
