Guest guest
Why, why, why more vaxes????? Will we soon have to have a vax to prevent left-handedness? What's with the vaxing mania? Is it strictly all money oriented? Surely the correlation between vax injury and the cost to the economy has been made? If we wipe out a nation of young children with vaxing injuries (because just a couple of vaxes don't seem to be doing enough - let's do 20, 30, 50 vaxes . . . ), what will the country be in 50 years??? US: ACIP recommends second varicella shot http://www.idinchildren.com/ Infectious Diseases in Children Cover Stories: AUGUST 2006 ACIP recommends second varicella shot ATLANTA — The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended a second dose of varicella vaccine (Varivax, Merck/Oka) for children aged 4 to 6 years and catch-up vaccine for children, adolescents and adults who previously only received one dose. The second dose will provide increased protection against varicella disease as its epidemiology changes, experts told the ACIP. The committee recommended that physicians administer the first dose at 12 to 15 months, which coincides with administration of the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine. The CDC currently recommends the first dose of varicella vaccine for children aged 12 to 18 months. The agency recommends a second dose in outbreak situations. “We have made great progress in reducing chickenpox during the past 10 years. This recommendation will further reduce outbreaks of chickenpox and provide better individual protection,” Anne Schuchat, MD, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases, said. -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA, Hahnemannian Homeopath Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK $$ Donations to help in the work - accepted by Paypal account earthmysteriestours@... voicemail US 530-740-0561 (go to http://www.paypal.com) or by mail Vaccines - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm Vaccine Dangers On-Line course - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccineclass.htm Reality of the Diseases & Treatment - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccineclass.htm Homeopathy On-Line course - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo.htm
