Guest guest
Thanks for giving us an update on your situation. The decision to band or not to band is difficult to make, but is easier when you have all of the resources available. Best of luck to you and Hanna! - mom to Aidan > Hi Everyone, > > I just wanted to say goodbye to all of you, I've decided along w/ my Ped and Neurosurgeon not to band/helmet Hanna. It has been a very long month in the decision process but I feel I'm making the best choice for her. > In just the last 2 weeks, I've noticed marked improvement just from her rolling onto her belly to sleep. She turns her head in either direction so I think she'll round out well on her own. Her initial problem was complete flattening of the back, no assymetry whatsoever which is what made me reluctant to helmet/band. I'm hoping to see continued improvement, although I know it will never be perfect, I'll be happy w/ whatever results we get, she's already perfect in my eyes. For her case, I'm just thankful that she's healthy, I know things could be much worse(just from what a friend is experiencing w/ her children). > I wish all of you the best w/ all of your choices. > Thank you for this website, it has been very helpful in my decision making. > I'll try to keep you posted as time goes by. If I figure out the problem w/ my scanner, I'll post progressive pics too. > Cheryl and Hanna
