Guest guest
For those attorneys, physicians and expert witnesses who monitor this site, and are involved in toxic tort litigation, you can get a copy of the Daubert hearing on expert witnesses in a major mold exposure case which was held this week in Federal Court in New York City. I testified Tuesday and Wed. of this week in this landmark Daubert hearing. The style of the case is " FREDERICKS vs COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY " and the judge was Judge Sprizzo). The transcript can be ordered from the Clerk of the Courts Office in the Federal Courthouse ( " Javits " )in Manhattan. It is worth getting as it is a classic example of what the courts require of an expert witness---MD or PhD and involves the very latest scientific literature on exposure to molds and mycotoxins resulting in effects on the immune system, respiratory, CNS, PNS and cardiac effects in both lab animals and man. There is dose/response and epidemiological literature. It will be a wealth of technical and scientific information and plaintiff and defense strategy for your future Daubert or Frye hearings. Dr. L.
