Guest guest
I guess that I should add that even though I got most of my family to shut up, at least within hearing distance, they never believed a word I said until Melinda Ballards story hit the front page of USA Today. Berating people for their MISunderstanding did nothing to change their minds but it sure felt good and taught them to hold their tongues in my presence. Antagonizing them by standing up for the Truth resulted in a written letter in which they informed me that for my own good and in order to force me to reconsider my 'attitude about being made sick by mold' that the family had to resort to withdrawing any further help. Isn't that swell? They are actually congratulating themselves for their proactive stance in helping a hysterical mold victim by refusing to support the " behaviors which enable illness beliefs " . What a wonderful perspicacious caring bunch! So they tossed me out on the streets, as it were. But I already had a plan of action which I was preparing to execute, and their actions posed no interference and did not hinder my escape plan in any way. Disappointing to be treated in this manner, but Truth doesn't allow for opinions and brooks no compromise. Lots of us have been set out on the icy front porch of the igloo, but WHERE I wound up is more significant than the abandonment itself, because I wound up taking refuge in the very shadow of Dr office. Back to square one in the CFS epidemic. Even as I was formulating a mycotoxin avoidance strategy that resulted in spectacular results, I was under the very windows of the doctor who should have been most interested, but who was interested not in the least. I continue to be mind emboggle-ated at this confluence of coincidences. -
Guest guest
, You deserve a lot of credit for holding your ground. Some people would start to doubt themselves. Congratulations on being a " mold warrior " in Dr Shoemaker's and Dr Schaller's book.
