Anaheim, CA -- A " don't miss " presentation. Dr. Rajiv Sahay, an

internationally recognized microbiologist with Environmental

Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), a division of Pure Air Control

Services, will present important indoor environmental findings of a

decade long study entitled " Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ): A 10-

Year Case Study for Industry IEQ Guidelines " held at the 2005

American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce) in

Anaheim, California.

The importance of the Bioaerosol/IEQ guideline is to assist in

establishing normal or background bioaerosol numbers for building

indoor environments.

Environmental assays that are part of the decade long study include:

Bioaerosols – Fungi and Bacteria

Aerobiology – Fungal elements

Surface Microscopy – Fungal elements

During the 10-year study, over 10 million microbes were studied and

categorized in over 328 different type of fungi and bacteria, in

over 27,000 samples.

The presentation is a part of the Mold Exposure Assessment and

Evaluation podium session scheduled for May 23, 2005 at 2:00 PM in

Convention Center Room #201.
