Ten Years of Dedication

Pick up the May 30th issue of PEOPLE magazine (on stands this weekend) for a

feature on homeowners bilked by builders!

Dear HADD Friends and Supporters,

What do a small group of homeowners living and working in new deficient

homes do? They create the largest not for profit consumer organization to

educate new homebuyers about the pitfalls of substandard construction in the

nation.

What an exciting year following HADD's story " Housewrecked " in Consumer

Report Magazine's January 2004 issue. Housewrecked featured HADD Secretary,

Schnackle of Oklahoma and Oregon Rep., Haynes. Consumer Report

created a flood of opportunities to share the heartache that accompanies

substandard new home construction.

PEOPLE Magazine did an outstanding story featuring HADD's President

Seats, along with other HADD members. In the last month we have had the

opportunity to work with two national televised media magazines. Those shows

and

air time will be announced in the near future on the HADD website.

Also, if you haven't, please visit our new website. Countless hours have

been donated by our Ohio President, Santora in redesigning and updating

our site to bring the best and most recent information to the public sector.

Many of our members, reps. and board members are going through litigation.

As most of you are aware, this can be a trying time. Please remain

supportive and help us to keep this issue alive! We just couldn't have done
