I think you are onto something here, the 'know it all' complex 99%

of doctors apparently have so you can't tell them anything that they

don't know SINCE THEY KNOW IT ALL. I have known quite a few people

like that, not restricted to medicine but certainly medicine

is 'fraught' with them. When you come upon a doctor with 'no ears'

and treats you as someone unworthy to listen to (I've had doctors

who don't even listen to my symptoms so unused to listening to

anyone but their own voices, you need to not waste one more minute,

not another apppt or just leave right away, cut him off. Why waste

your very VALUABLE time with a person who is closed minded and

thinks of you obviously as inferior, not his/her colleague.
