Mission Highway- To fight against HIV/AIDS.

Dear Memebers ,

Greetings from Mission Highway Team. As you know Birendra K.Soni a M.S.W student

from Mumbai University, doing all India Tour on motorbike , to find out the gap

or lack between apparoch and practice where govt.of India and funding agencies

are together spending more than 1000 Crore every year but still HIV/AIDS is

becoming an epidemic day by day.

During his travel he is collecting data for his term paper and at the same time

promoting rights of HIV/AIDS to infected and affected people along with VCCTC.

He is meeting target groups as well as service providers to find out

difficulties to combat HIV/AIDS . Based on his finding and experience , he is

planning to work in future.

This is totally non - funded campaign and Mr.Birendra has invested most of the

money from his pocket and has taken a loan for the campaign. I am requesting

you on behalf of Mission Highway , please promote his work through your wide

network and review his nomination.

In response of his mission highway campaign 2000 clubs in India are going to

observe International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (16th May 2004). You can also

join them in your own city and make difference.

Global Health has accepted nomination of Birendra Soni including two more person

from India for Mann award. I am giving description of all said people
