Guest guest
Dear Forum, I would appreciate it if someone could provide me with the following data on HIV prevalence within states. I am having trouble obtaining this information. 1. Data from districts with a high HIV prevalence rate as identified by NACO (antenatal, VCTs, or other). Could be percentages or other. 2. Data at the district level from states with medium HIV prevalence. 3. Data at the district level from states with low HIV prevalence. 4. If available, a rural/urban breakdown at the district level within these states. 5. Program interventions that have components of addressing migrant populations at places of origin and places of destination (brief description of specific places). 5. Full texts of the following abstracts or the abstracts themselves (could not find them on the Conference website): Nair RV, Purohit A, Mora CJ, et. al., " HIV Survey Among Migrant Populations and Their Communities in Rural Rajasthan, " Presented at XIV International Conference on AIDS in Barcelona, July 2002 Sharma S, Sharma R, et. al., " Sero-concordant couples of migrant workers living with HIV/AIDS in Rural Rajasthan " Presented at XIV International Conference on AIDS Presented at XIV International Conference on AIDS in Barcelona, July 2002. Any assistance with this information request would be greatly appreciated. It is purely for analytical purposes and not for any grant funding. Regards, Sushil Raj E-mail: s.raj@...
