Guest guest
Well, as I keep pointing out, no amount of remediation is going to help you if the mold is blowing in from your neighbors spore plume. I've seen a bunch of brand new houses that were built in an area that was bad before they were built - when there was nothing but empty lots - and unsurprisingly, the area is STILL bad. Yes it's true that being outside gives the air a " mixing " effect which makes it slightly more tolerable than inside after a spore plume has been laid down - but since the houses are not the source, no " clearance " can guarantee that a mold sensitive person can survive there. Mold remediation can only address the areas they are contracted to clear. They are not equipped to account for contamination from sewer vents, drainages, outbuildings and neighbors unless you can perceive the problem and point them at it. And if it is not on your property, as was my case, then you may have no options at all but to move. And the immune Complement activation factors which induces the cytokine response does not mediate antibodies and so is not an " allergy " in the usual sense and is not measured by allergists. So it would be better to describe symptoms which are NOT consistent with the " sniffling, sneezing, watery eyes " as a " toxic response " or your doctor will certainly measure antibodies against mold, find that you are allergic but that should be no big deal, and tell you that your " toxic " problems are all in your head. -
