I figure I spent between 250 and 300 nights out in 2004. I stayed in

places sometimes for a night or two, and either moved on due to

intolerance or circumstance. I know for a fact that this pales next to

the experiences of others on this list who have been dealing with

toxicity for much longer periods than I. I spent the winter and

spring in Baja, SoCal and AZ, Summer in Colo, and the Fall behind a

guardrail on a road above Malibu and on a sailboat in Santa .

I moved back inside when I could handle it, which was basically only

because I went on Cholestyramine. I tried every naturopathic, dietary

and antifungal regimen, and still was so reactive that I had to live

out of " normal " structures. Within three days of getting on CSM, I

saw results, and within two weeks I was able to sleep in my brothers

house in Phoenix.

This is the single most effective therapy I've experienced, though

abosolute avoidance is still probably better. However, doing this

correctly is almost impossible, and it takes an abnormal amount of

discipline and insight to be able to pull it off. I made plenty of

exposure mistakes, (being downwind of latrines, etc.) and had to clean

everything in my car (and the car) at least six times in the last 12

months.
