Guest guest
I've had yeast issues for many years now too and have finally found some relief from drinking Bio-K Plus. I don't have it every day and unless you like the taste of yogurt (I don't!) it's kind of gross. It's also a little expensive but I only drink 1/4 of a bottle/day when I'm supplementing (usually premenstrual). HTH, Laurie > > From: " Sheri B. For me to be itch-free I have to take probiotics several times a day and virtually eat no sweets. I also try to really limit my flours and starchy carbs. When I do this my yeast is pretty much in check. I have never had to go hardcore like many people do, but if you're really bad off you might give it a try. > > There is also a product called Candex (not cheap), which are simply enzymes that eat the yeast. These, used in conjunction with GOOD probiotics will probably help. I am not sure of what you're already doing. The cheapest place I've found the Candex is my local Vitamin Shoppe store. It was a full $10 or so cheaper than at the HFS. > > As for the allopathic way around it, I always had monistat or some other yeast cream on hand. It never went away permanently. It was take a vacation for a week or so and then it was right back. Horrible!!! > > Hope this helps! > Sheri B. > > > > --------------------------------- > How low will we go?
