Guest guest
Hey, after allot of reassert, I found Georgia-Pacific - DensArmor Plus fiberglass faced sheetrock , that I am using in my new home. As far as I know it is the only substitute for reg sheetrock, unless you want to go for real plaster walls. For my 1600 sq ft home the contractor is charging me $4000 extra for using this sheetrock. It is over $20 a piece. Greenboard has paper facing, it just falls apart less when exposed to water. For tiling you can use cement board or another Dens-armour product called tile-backer Dura-Date: Thu, 02 Jun 2005 16:40:36 -0000 From: " barb1283 " <barb1283@...> Subject: Re: Need some advise, water damage Is 'greenboard' better to put up than sheetrock? --- In , " Healthier4all "
