Thank you Gil,

I agree with all which you are saying...

While the manufacturer's web site is promotional it does fail to divulge the

technology being used. Yes uv light does create ozone and the titanium

dioxide will or can act as a catalyst to convert the ozone into other strong

oxidizers we have no confirmation of what strengths are being used. We can

see the wattage of the light bulb is very low [whatever that means in the

field of health physics] and I concede there need be no ozone escapaing into

an occupied zone.

The question is can a boy's closet with stinky smelly gym shoes be sanitized

and made to smell like a mountain top? I think it could by the right

photohydroionization technology. If this is it then my

hat is off to them.

I have no opinion on the subject. Don't know enough. But just wondering - their

ozone light doesn't look any different from lights I've had throughout my house

for quite some time. (Home Depot, I think.) Most any time you find something

with a white coating or white paint on it, titanium is used as the pigment.

Sounds great in the advertising, though! " Not just any old lightbulb - it's a

ti-TAN-ium lightbulb! "

They play hell with getting the lampshades to stay in place, though, and they

don't work with home automation systems. But they last a long time.
