Guest guest
Janice, here's a medical site discussing mild infections that may be of interest. http://www.doctorfungus.org/mycoses/human/other/skin_index.htm<http://wwwdoctorf\ ungus.org/mycoses/human/other/skin_index.htm> I'm trying to find something I read last week about a guy being treated for gray fuzzy mold growing rapidly out of his ears. The doctors described the condition as a rare case of mold infection with a medical diagnosis and treatable. You didn't mention what kind of a doctor you are with. I'd believe only a studied dermatologist would be able to handle your case. Might you find better care from a dermatology department at a medical school? Ken [] Argument with my GP Up in Canada I think it's written in blood that once a person's on disability doctor's shouldn't listen to them! Honestly every time I see this woman, before I really get into why I'am seeing her she pisses me off with I don't believe that, I don't believe this .... Today I brought along the old bread to show her what happens when I eat bread a few days old, the hair goes staticky, the moss growth appears on my skin below my lips, I start sratching with 2-5 minutes .... and I bought along a lot of stuff about MCS, Organic Foods, Leaky Gut, Yeast Overgrowth, and she says she doesn't believe any of that, so the adrenelen goes up and my fight hormone almost takes over and I needlessly forget what else I'am supposed to mention, even though it may be written down in front of her she won't read it! Then she ask me what's MCS?? She doesn't know half of what my reactions are, but she wouldn't believe me anyway! Sniff! (Janice) But when you need a GP for ODSP forms, and you can't find one that listen's what do you do??? ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals..ca<http://personals..ca/> FAIR USE NOTICE: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Ken, Is this what you were looking for? KC Human Mildew Friday, May 27, 2005 - Bangor Daily News http://www.bangornews.com/news/templates/?a=114165 Dermatologists in Bangor have been diagnosing Human Mildew in the past three weeks. Dr. Gallagher, a local dermatologist, stated, " I've never seen any cases of Human Mildew before three weeks ago, when suddenly I saw two cases. Last week I had 12 cases. It is characterized by wooly growth coming out of the ears and similar wooly changes are found on the eyebrows giving the patient a werewolf-like appearance. Some of the other dermatologists think this is just a variant of swimmers ear but these cases are indeed Human Mildew and are the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. " Human Mildew is a rare condition caused by an overgrowth of yeasts, fungi and mold. The recent relentless weather has precipitated the epidemic. Many patents exhibit depressive symptoms i.e. irritability and episodes of crying. These symptoms may be simply due to the weather alone or perhaps due to unexplained toxic effects of fungi on the brain. Dermatologists in Portland have incorrectly blamed the condition on the weatherman and not the weather - a common mistake. The therapy is removal of the patient to a warm, sunny and dry environment. One patient found that a trip to Las Vegas cleared the lesions in a few days. The CDC and the federal gum'mit have been alerted. An anonymous source at Newsweek relates a rumor that Rumsfeld has already diverted to Airport a Telford Airline plane flying from Bangor to Baghdad. Rumsfeld allegedly grumbled, " The werewolves fit the profile of terrorists. And by the way, where the devil is Bangor? " Dr. Gallagher continued in the interview, " If we don't get a break in the weather I am sure we will be seeing more folks in the mall looking like characters from a King novel. " Gallagher, M.D., is a Bangor dermatologist. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. --- In , " kengib . Guest guest
Thank you KC, that's the story... Just forgot where I read it... Thought it might somehow be related to the problem Janice has.
